Training

There are many different training opportunities available to you as a member of the Health Library at County. We can help you to get the most out of our resources and develop your research and information skills.

Take advantage of our online training or contact the library (library@uhnm.nhs.uk) to arrange bespoke individual or group training such as:

  • Library induction,
  • Health Literacy,
  • Search skills, 
  • Accessing journal articles, 
  • Using specific resources such as Knowledge and Library Hub a Discovery tool for NHS resources including major databases, journals, articles, ebooks and high level evidence.
  • Clinical Key (UHNM only) Clinical search engine, full-text articles, topic summaries and ebooks; available to UHNM staff via OpenAthens or BMJ Best Practice point of care tools
  • NEJM (UHNM only) Case-based, peer reviewed questions.
