Latest news on COVID-19 guidelines for the health libraries

Please note that as from Monday 10th August 2020 all visitors to the health libraries at UHNM must wear a face covering in line with latest government guidelines.

We thank you for your cooperation.

The Health Library at County is re-opening!

The library team are delighted to let you know that the Health Library at County will be open and staffed from 1st July with some limits to services. We have been working remotely throughout lockdown but now have the go-ahead to re-open the physical premises with some safety measures in place. Initially the library will be staffed 10-3pm Mon- Friday and out of hours access will not be available but we hope to be able to re-instate this in due course.

Staff are asked to maintain 2m social distancing within the library space, follow guidance and directional signs, and  keep behind marked lines if you need to communicate with library staff. We would also ask that you clean IT equipment before and after use with the wipes provided for both your own safety and that of your colleagues. There will also be hand gel provided for your own use at sanitisation stations.

If you are returning books please post them in the book return bin.

Due to COVID some services such as training will continue to be delivered remotely rather than face to face. If you have any queries please contact us by email library@uhnm.nhs.uk.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

The Library Team
