 Please note that the library will be self-service Good Friday and Easter Monday for those with out of hours access due to the Bank Holidays. Staff will be available on site or contactable via the library email (library@uhnm.nhs.uk) Mon-Thurs this week. 

The Health Library at County provides 24/7 access to members who have requested extended access otherwise the library can be accessed during PGMC opening hours.




 

E-books

UHNM Health Libraries have several collections of ebooks including Oxford handbooks online, Kortext and Clinical Key. Each of these platforms contain many of the latest texts that UHNM staff can access online, all you need is an OpenAthens password. The Kortext collection contains many popular titles for nursing and allied health professional such as the "...at a glance" series whilst Clinical Key contains a wide range of texts relating to medicine, surgery, diagnostics and more.

11th to 17th March 2024

 

Nutrition and Hydration Week takes place every March with the aim of highlighting and educating the public on the importance of good nutrition.  Its main purpose is to spark conversation and generate energy and focus around the value of food and drink in maintaining health and wellbeing in the health and social care settings.
