As well as our physical print bookstock, UHNM staff also have access to a wide array of e-books which can be read on line and sometimes downloaded. All you need to access them is an OpenAthens password.

E-books via Kortext

Health Education England have provided access to a further collection of e-books. These can be accessed from your myathens page by selecting Kortext eBooks from the resource list.  You will need your Athens password to login. Once logged in select collection to see the books available to you. If you don't see a list of books try entering NHS England in the search box. 

There is currently a collection of  approximately 85 books which can be accessed and read online. Titles have been suggested by Health Libraries and cover a wide range of popular topics Take a look!
