News and information from the Health Library at County Hospital Stafford.: Christmas Opening Arrangements 2025

The Health Library at County will remain open to users over the Christmas and New Year period. Access will be via swipe card as the PGMC building is closed. The library will be unstaffed from Wednesday 24^th December until Monday 5^th of January 2026.

* Staff will be available for enquiries Monday the 29^th and Tuesday the 30^th of December.

Out of hours access arrangements for evenings and weekends continue as normal (please contact the library if you would like out of hours access)

Library Opening Hours

The library is accessible 24/7 to members who apply for extended hours access. Otherwise staff can access the library during PGMC opening hours Monday-Friday excluding Bank Holidays.

Library staff are increasingly working on an outreach basis and are able to come to visit/assist you and your team in your workplace if desired, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The physical library space in the chapel building is designed so that you can use it on a self-service basis but library staff are available should you need help either online or in person, Mon-Fri. If you are making a special journey to the library and know you will need help or advice it is recommended to contact us in advance to ensure staff are on hand. We welcome your enquiries.
