11th to 17th March 2024

 

Nutrition and Hydration Week takes place every March with the aim of highlighting and educating the public on the importance of good nutrition.  Its main purpose is to spark conversation and generate energy and focus around the value of food and drink in maintaining health and wellbeing in the health and social care settings.

Eating Disorders Awareness Week, run by the charity BEAT, takes place every year with the aim of educating the public and providing hope and support to those affected by eating disorders.  This year, the focus is on ARFID – avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder – a largely unknown and misunderstood eating disorder.
